I'm blaming GG for the last draw, she started the doomed thread and when she showed up on Monday, they had to come off never to return :nono:

So I'll get this thread in before she can curse it again... by the way I'm against Friday tests, it knocks my alignment out

And for those who like their barely meaningful records...

"The match at Trent Bridge starts on Friday July 27 and with only 1,000 tickets left for the Monday, is likely to produce record fourth-day advanced sales for a non-Ashes Test at the ground"

Apparently the Indian batting line up has been struggeling for a while now. England should win the series comfortably weather permitting. Good to see that Donald has given the bowlers a good old fashioned kick up the anus. Anderson looked world class the other day.

Flintoff and Hoggard still not returning but I did hear somewhere that Simon Jones has declared himself fit.

Not that that matters...Jimmy is looking to be back to his 2003 best :D

:D

And I take back what I thought about Tremlett after the ODIs...he looks like a noncrap Harmison.

Haha!

I have an immense problem with the way the ECB has treated Anderson actually. He's been thrown in and out almost at random. Plunkett certainly never deserved to be ahead of him as a selection in the Windies 'tests'. Hopefully now he can build on this performance and make himself an established regular. Which unfortunately fecks Lancs over a tad, but such is life

My threads not going well, the Indians have chosen GG's copycat effort. Clearly they believe in her curse (that I made up) and are desperately clinging to whatever they can in order to attain some kind of result in the upcoming test!

That's fantastic for a spinner.

Also, what makes his stats even better, is the fact that he's hardly played on awful spinning wickets like Kumble and other Indian spinners.

Thus it has been proven, that Paneser is clearly greater than Kumble.

Thanks, you've all been great.

See above, Mehro.

I've totally blown away any argument you had.
