Juan Seba Veron is the best player in the world, I am sick of all this talk about him not performing and being a bad buy, his vision is second to none and his long range passing is exemplary. Don't tell me he dont suit English football, he does. He is our player of the season by a long shot.

Look i like most reds want Seba to be a success
but at the moment he does not fit in at United .

People dont like him because they say he gives the ball away too much.
I dont have any stats on this, but IMO other players have been more guilty of this than Verón this season. They dont get slated the way he does, but hey he's an Argentinian, he's new, he was expensive, etc.
It's the last in first out attitude, and it stinks IMO.

Some people might like to consider just how few points we might have if we didn't have Veron as part of our squad this season.
I think he's been much improved so far this season. I watched the Argentina highlights on Eurosport last night, and Veron seemed to have a free role with minimal defensive duties.
Not only that, he seemed to be everywhere on the pitch and was involved in the build up for both goals. One of his long range 60 yard balls was a joy to behold. If only Lopez hadn't miscontrolled it.
Basically, I was proud to think of him as 'our' player when I saw how influential he was last night.
For all the knockers..... just who would be playing in our central midfield if we didn't have the bald one???

Veron has played exceptionally well at times. Many matches, he has been the best player for about 60 minutes (eg, against West Ham).
Problem at the moment with him is that he disappears from games when they start getting difficult.
But he is definitely getting a lot better, and starting to look the part more often than not.

With Keano or Nicky in the middle and more importantly Becks and Giggsy back on the wings where Sebas passes actually had someone to go to we would see a massive improvement.
When he receives the ball there is usually no movement for his passing ability.If the wings were used again the threat would once again come from the full width of the pitch leaving the opponents spread out not knowing whether the pass will be to the wingers or a surge through the middle.

Im a Seba fan from way back, i think he is just a bit of a scape goat for alot of fans, il admit he hasnt been at his best lately and does give the ball away but this season he has been one of our best along with Scholsey and JOS. he just takes alot of the stick for out problems.
