Can anyone tell me how to search for a thread? In FAQ it says there's a search icon at the top of most pages but I can't find it.

Many moons ago there was a search facility and I think Niall disabled it but I am unsure why.
If I remember correctly it was a bit cack anyway.

Yeah the search feature is disabled because it's too much of a resource hog and would slow things down even further and lead to even more cgi-limit messages.
The search function doesn't work well on large UBB sites. It sometimes even corrupts essential files. It would be more feasible to use it on VBulletin should Niall decide to turn it on..
