When I search my post or thread history they only go back 4 pages.

Is that the same for everyone?

Am I special?

I know I've been here since 2006 and have only noticed but..... well, I've been busy.

yeah. that should give the 100 first posts. In effect .005% of pops posts.
Anyway, with a few tweaks of keywords in the advanced search you should be able to find what you are looking though.

The search function will not find my old posts when using by username, it probably will dismiss 40,000 or so outright, so I don't know what he's moaning at.

All of the search functions are rubbish. I searched the exact name of a thread earlier in the correct forum and got nothing.
