It's clear to everybody that SAF will step up his search for a striker in January. I have been worried by some of the names that have been linked with United, as i see how they are the right type we need-e.g Crespo, and Gudjohnson.
If you take a look at the Teams who are suceeding this season they all share a commen dimension- A striker with electric pace and ability.
Arsenal have Henry, Liverpool-Owen, Real-Ronaldo, AC Milan-Shevchenko
Surely it's time to look for a player who fits this mold. It's commen knowledge that defenders fear pace and an acomplished finish. Even our mighty Rio looked fearful of Anelka's in the derby.
Players like Ciise interest me. Gudjohnsen is a great player but we have the same already in Ruud only he's more accomplished. As for Crespo we don't need another South American temperament in the side to distrupt things. Who should the club aim to sign?, i have some views of my own.
