Confirm or deny, Liverpool are going to win nothing this year. Without Owen they look unlikely to beat anyone, Heskey is not fit to lace rvn's boots and save for Gerrard, Murphy and Hypia have a team of mediocre players.

P.S Is it true that as RVN's 1st goal hit the net against Villa on Sunday a peg flew out the ground and killed a person in the 5th row, also I hear they are still bleaching the net to get the scorch marks out, I am glad it didn't hit big Pete or it would have killed him

a) name yourself after remi moses
b) rate murphy but not owen, anelka, berger, henchoz and carragher

come back at the end of the season and we can have a nice little chat about who won what

It will be hard for Liverpool to win anything this year. The FA Cup and finishing in the top four wouldn't be out of the question though.

I still think it's a bit too early to say we're out of the race for the title, Raoul. In the next month or so we face you lot, Arse and Leeds (plus Ipswich and Leicester). Should we take all the points, and I hope to God we can, the table will be looking a little bit different! We were crap last night, but I can't give up hope just yet :)

If you were playing like you were 2 months ago and we were playing like we were 2 months ago then I would definitely agree with you. We're hitting on all cylinders at the moment and will probably improve even more as Beckham and Giggs play more regularly.

It's hard to deny that Manyoo are, like Raoul said, "hitting on all cylanders," but you never know what's going to happen over the next 90 mins of football. It's not over until someone's holding the trophy! :p

I don't think Liverpool fans (proper and reasoned) really entertained notions of winning the CL this year. Out of our group would be a fair achievement, I think you'd agree. Then again, if we got out of that group, anything would be possible.

The premiership is still wide open. I think arsenal are favoured atm. Man Utd may be flying, but I can't see it lasting for you.(though you will surely retain a better level of performance than aug-dec). Old weaknesses are likely to resurface in some capacity. RVN won't be able to blast you out of deficits all season. I genuinely think LFC can win it, but it would take an unbelievable stimulation of confidence, and a reappraisal of the way we are playing atm. We all saw the evidence for ourselves last night.

FA Cup. Would be nice, always exciting and it is the FA cup. But really, its the dessert isn't it. While I'd never say no to a cup win, it is small spuds if the league has been fritterd away.

All honest answers.

Interesting but it seems to be only for uk based punters.

You might want to know that Malaysia is a muslim country and unregulated betting (ie not having a govt issued license) is illegal so I don't know how I'm going to get around it

I believe bets through this forum is easier settled by conditions such as not coming in here for say a month if you lose

Yes maybe, but saying as I couldn't give a toss if you're on here or not its not as much of a good prospect as taking you to the cleaners....

how about this ... change the bet to which team finishes higher lfc or mufc. and since you obviously don't rate us, let's make the odds 6-1, and the stakes two months on redcafe, so that ...

if mufc finished above lfc, i'll leave this forum for two months

if it's the other way round, you leave for a year
