Sandro will be important for them this season. I would have him instead of Hudd anyway. That above formation is excellent. If they also get Cahill they can push Liverpool and Arse for 4th
Their first team isn't the problem, it's their squad which is poor. I'm certain this will cost them any chance of a top 4 finish. They have absolute dross that they should have flogged:

Palacios
Kaboul
Kranjčar
Pavlyuchenko
Crouch
In addition to Parker, replacing them with 2 good defenders (like Cahill/Samba/Shawcross) and a good striker (someone like Daniel Sturridge or ironically Darren Bent) would give them a much better chance.
Unfortunately it seems Harry generally overvalues his players which leads them to warming the bench for a season or two before being sold for far less (as I'm sure will happen to Bentley/Pavlyuchenko/Jenas/Kranjcar and has already happened to Keane).
He's penny-wise but pound-foolish.
