V season 2 is being filmed atm I think.
Meant to be a new BSG series coming soon but not holding much hope if syfy are involved as it wont last too long.
I've heard good things about Stargate Universe but have not managed to see any yet.
V is pretty cack. Even the presence of Morena Baccarin can't save it.

SGU is mostly good, but Syfi seem to be cancelling it. I think the next season will be the last on their network. So unless anyone else picks it up, we could be getting an ending very soon
They aren't doing a 3rd series through syfy so once we have seen all that remains of series 2 that is it unless they give us a TV movie to finish off the story arc or as you said someone else picks it up.
The writers lost their way with the Stargate spin-offs during S3/4 of Stargate Atlantis IMO. And ultimately, SG-1 was the pinnacle.
They could revive Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, not that that's space but Syfy used to show it for years so i am going to try and squeeze it in here.
