They get absolutely horrible the more that got made. First one is amusing at some parts.
I can tell instantly that you are a man of astounding wit and sophistication.
Only the first one was any good, the sequels were very cheesy.
Oh come on, it's a good laugh.
It's totally stupid, has hot girls wearing little clothing and rips the piss out of mainstream horror films, what's not to like ?
Well, for one thing, it's anvilicous way of telling a joke.

The first sentence refers to how, in my opinion, the jokes are so forced and obvious, it is as if you are being beaten over the head with an anvil.
The second sentence refers to the actors in the movie, the Wayans brothers. The Wayans brothers have also brought to us the movies "White Chicks" and "Little Man", and are, in my humble opinion, about as funny as being told that your entire family has just been murdered.

I can't argue with that, because the whole film is a piss take, it's basically taking the piss out of it's self. That's what makes it funny

First one was quite funny but it did get progressively worse. It's the type of film you would watch when you just can't be asked to think.
Just started watching Scary Movie 2, I'm 20 minutes in and I haven't laughed once, please tell me it gets better.

Haven't seen it, but can just tell this will be a waste of 90 minutes of your life.
Spoofs work the first time because of their 'originality'...the same joke wears very thin after a while.
Its substituting skill and craft for cheap jokes and the lack of a single original thought.
Turn it off...right now...find yourself the original Halloween, or Night of the Living Dead, or The Exorcist, or Rosemary's Baby, or Carrie...anything but this drivel.
This is just awful. 40 Minutes in and I haven't laughed once.

I might give it a watch this evening.
I'm 40 minutes into Scary Movie 3. It's good, in places, far better than 2, but not as good as the original.
I though it was pretty good.
