He hasn't been linked to us. I was just thinking that he would be the perfect partner to Ruud. Quick, skillful and a teriffic finisher. Very much an Argentinian Michael Owen but with a bigger bag of tricks.

There's probably little to no chance of him coming. But with Barca doing so badly in the league, you never know. If they don't qualify for the CL next year, they may be forced to sell and players may ask for a transfer to a club that would be participating in the CL. Like Manchester United for example. <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />
 
I have nothing but admiration for this kid, fecking fantastic, next Batisuta, but faster and more skilful. IF and that is a big if, Barca sell him, i doubt he could be clawed away for less then £40mil and we ain't got that sort of money to spend after shelling out 30 million big ones for Rio. No go there i am afraid mate.
 
Forget it, and if he doesn't put on some weight he will be a total flop anyway. Against a big CB he's useless.
 
Saviola would be a hit over here. No doubt in my mind. Van Gaal treats his players like shit so just think how he'd respond to a manager like Fergie who backs him 100%.
