Saturday Night Live

Because it's been shit for over a decade. You're lucky.

No offense.

I've watched a few episodes of the first series recently. It's quite bizarre - Andy Kaufman in particular. Some of the sketches still stand up 30-odd years later, but a lot of it hasn't aged well. John Belushi is great though.

I thought it had aged terribly. I saw the whole first and second seasons just because I was interested in some of the live acts. I sped through most of the comedy as it was often quite painful to watch.

Does anyone else think Steve Martin is one of the most overrated comedians of all time?

He's just a wild and crazy guy!

A lot of the early SNL stuff isn't as funny today as it was then(I'm guessing). Some of the Belushi skits aren't laugh aloud funny, but they probably were back in the day.

Al Franken is now a Senator.

Why is it impossible to watch SNL anywhere other than in the States...live...on a Saturday?

I miss it :(

Because it's NBC, the company that decides that it's necessary to tape delay the Olympics for three hours for the Pacific Time Zone despite the events actually taking place live in the Pacific Time Zone.

Half the time zones in the Continental US actually don't get SNL live. Not that we really care.

I love the era with Bill Murry and the 90s era as well I just don't get what the fuss is about when it comes to steve martin

A new one by the SNL crew.

I personally thought it was funny as feck!
