Inter have been warned that they could lose Santiago Solari to Manchester United if they fail to agree terms with the player.
The Nerazzurri’s initial contract offer has been rejected by the Real Madrid star who wants a healthier financial package.
And now Solari’s agent Alejandro Camano has told Inter chief Massimo Moratti to make his move or lose the player for good.
"The time for Santiago to leave Real Madrid has arrived," said Camano. "And the player is by no means satisfied with Inter’s offer."
Real Madrid have agreed to release the wide midfielder to Inter as part of the deal that saw Ronaldo move in the opposite direction last summer.
Reports yesterday suggested that city rivals Milan could hijack the deal but it now seems that Manchester United are very interested.
Real, who will have to give Inter £7m if Solari doesn’t join them, have claimed that numerous clubs have expressed a January interest in the Argentine.
