OLE OLE OLE I LOVE YOU
Now, this is what i have been saying for ages. If we are to win the league title this season, signing a world class CB or (at least) a young CB with enough potential and experience at the highest level is as important as signing someone like Pogba. Our defense is nothing like what most you think it is. Don't get fooled with our last season's defensive stats.

Jose & Ed, please make this happen, Bonucci is exactly what we are lacking in our defense. We sign Bonucci and Pogba, and the league is ours. And if City get's Bonucci, then they are the favorites. So, signing Bonucci is like killing 2 birds in one shot; we will get a world class defender and at the same time it will stop one of our direct rivals from signing him.

Mirror also reporting the same.

Pogba, Bonucci, Mkhitaryan, Fabinho, Zlatan and Bailly would be a decent window.

Yea, 'decent' sounds about fair for that.

You've even omitted a player we DID sign in place of 3 we haven't.

Bonucci is great but Juve aren't going to sell him, in my opinion. Along with Buffon and his fellow CBs, he's the main voice marshaling that back line. In the same window (to the same club) as Pogba? Even less likely.

There's absolutely no way we can sign both in the same window.

Never be satisfied.

Edit: You're too fast, knew I forgot someone fast but went for the edit instead

Obviously not going to happen but promising that we're looking at adding an experienced 'top' defender. This transfer window is shaping up to be better than we could ever have realistically expected.

Bonucci, I would guess is nontransferable for Juventus.

Feck it! sign Bonucci, Jesus and Sane just to piss city off

(Never happening by the way, no way we get Bonucci)

Echos Castle's article yesterday, very promising signs although not sure which defender realistically is on the market and fits that quota at the 28/29 age range.

50M is a lot of money, especially for a CB who is already 29, and they have already signed Benatia as well. Never say never!!

Bonucci to United is in the same bin as Jesus to United.

Not happening!

MEN pass on information reported by others as their own. Miguel Delaney of ESPN reported this a week or so ago.

Anyway would be an excellent signing. Strong, robust, a leader and at 29 he's at a prime age.

Perfect target but zero chance of getting him. We should be signing another CB imo but I don't think he's attainable.
