Was hoping Wibble would bring in some names I've never heard

Thank you, greying haired one

People are either calling me ginger or grey.

Nice.

;)

If there is a sadder song that TMC's version of Song To The Siren then I want it taken out and executed.

The whole The The album Soul Mining is worth a listen. Perfect didn't appear on it at first but I think it is on all currently available versions now.

The best version of that song was the extended 12 inch version which I can't find anywhere. Much better backing rhythm track. Not that the easily available version isn't brilliant.

Not just a sad song, but one of THE greatest songs ever recorded...feckin' chills down the spine.

United's flag is deepest red,
It shrouded all our Munich dead,
Before their limbs grew stiff and cold,
Their heart's blood dyed it's every fold.

Then raise United's banner high,
Beneath it's shade we'll live and die,
So keep the faith and never fear,
We'll keep the Red Flag flying here.

We'll never die, we'll never die,
We'll never die, we'll never die,
We'll keep the Red flag flying high,
'Cos Man United will never die

Sad and uplifting at the same time

Too busy being blue - K.D laing
She's got you - Patsy Kline
Whiskey Lullaby - Alison Krauss

Can't beat a good old country gal for heartbreak.
