really good innings from jaffer. bad decision for karthik. was hoping we'd get around 300.

i'm hoping for some quick runs tomorrow. and a declaration an hour after tea with something like 550 on the board.

64. a quickfire 64. fecking pessimist cnuts. i stayed up all night watching the game. it starts at 3am for me and i'll be up all night tonight. we better fecking do well.

I thought you drew in the WIndies?

About as much chance as Bangladesh. Not sure how the players will react to being whitewashed, though. Anyway. . . I'd love to see Fletcher move on after the WC. I think he's had his time.

Doesn't bother me where they're from, if I'm honest. Always wanted Boycott in charge, bit too late for him, I guess. I dunno, but I'd certainly want someone with more charisma than Fletcher. He's dull as feck.

boycott would have made an interesting coach. i'd like to see if shastri or gavaskar ever take up the job.

imo england need a new captain. flintoff just doesn't look the part.

You're right, he doesn't. Much like Botham. Vaughan's the best candidate.

As for Gavasker or Shastri, do you mean the Indian or English job?

Would be interesting. DOn't think they'd have any language problems and all, as they speak English quite well.

Lowlight of the day: Poor umpiring decisions have played a significant part in this series, but you'd at least expect Elite Panel umpires to be able to count. When Dale Steyn had Sreesanth caught at second slip, six balls were up. But Asad Rauf appeared to be so caught up in the moment that he allowed Steyn another go. And that was all he needed to get rid of Munaf Patel, leaving Dinesh Karthik stranded on 38.

Nope won our first series there after ages. :D

Its ridiculous Mehro. First Dravid given out wrongly a few times, then Sachin at such a crutial stage, and finally Munafs dismissal. And Kartik was batting brilliantly at the time.

30 % chance of rain. c'monnnnnnnn ffs rain just this once. bhagwan varun, i think is the rain god, or is that wind. i'm not sure. do that rain dance thing all of you.

hehe..we're fecked...Pollock's going to make a century.

And I wasted my 6000th post on Guvspaz...fecker.
