I saw on the north west news today that he's had to retire because of his neck and he cant play again even just with his kid in his backyard because its that serious that he could be crippled, It sort of changed my mind about this PFA thing, Im still against the striking but atleast I can understand why there doing it

i think they are taking it too far though

3rd division players these days earn far more than your average geezer and often get a career in football afterwards and get paid more than average then.

i think in the 60s and 70s the pfa did a very good job with little money for players that earned little money, these days footballers are onto a nice thing, i know one who plays for a conference club who has a decent job too who gets £150 a week whether he plays or not, £150 a game and £150 a win and he doesnt even take it seriously he is on the piss every time i see him.

also the pfa spending 2 million pounds on a painting and taylor getting paid 1/2 million a year plus bonuses just piss me off too.

The PFA paid out less than a million pounds to players that have had to quit the game last year so why do they suddenly need 27 million?
The strike is a farce!
