Giggs needs a rocket up his back passage as he is in the worst run of form for years.
He is a class player but.....
He has 1 good game in about every 8 games and this isnt good enough.
In my opinion, Veron was better than Giggs last season and he got slated so Giggs should have aswell.
He seems scared to do anything and he spends 85 mins of the match in the centre when he is meant to be wide on the left.
When he does go wide he can't cross the ball as he always hits the first man. He's been practising all his life and gets paid to do it
I know that Fergie wont drop him as he has played for 11 years but he is the biggest bottler in the team.
Its so frustrating watching him every week, you know he can beat teams on his own some weeks but other weeks he could'nt beat my grandma.

LETS HAVE MORE CONSISTENCY THIS YEAR RYAN!

who's played like a yo-yo. no one can deny that he's been inconsistant at best. he needs someone to pressure his position. no doubt about being one of the best - but hasn't shown it week in and week out.
 
Why does someone gets slagged so easily on here for caring and giving his opinion? I don't see what's not true about what he says. Giggs hasn't played as well as he can lately, it's the truth and I think this is constructive critism.

Oh shit, I've posted something that isn't full of praise about one of our players, I fear that I'm now forever condemned as a glory hunter :rolleyes:
 
Must say I was getting really annoyed with him in the first half the other night, he was always far too central. Whether this was his fault though or SAF's I don't know. I was just praying that he would move fifty yards to the left and hug the touchline.

I think Giggsy tries to save himself for the big games. If he went at it with 100% in every game I'm sure he'd be injured much more than at present.

Remember though, when on form he has an ability for running at defenders and causing havoc that nobody in the world can match.

it looked like he was instructed to ' plough ' (literally) through the middle especially the first half while Ole made his plays from the outside left. in 2nd half they reverted back but Giggsy's final ball the other night was poor poor poor it must be said. it was no good him making any runs down the middle coz the surface was cut up worst there, ole showed in the 1st half how to attack from the left, Ole had a good game IMO just needs some sharpness back.

A lot of people can't distinguish between slagging off and constructive criticism.

And all these same people supported Taibi thru his bad patch as well. Not.

I agree, Giggs wasn`t at his best last season. But as far as I remember he had around 15 assists. Compare that to Verons stats. And decide again who was better last season.
 
I've nowt against Giggs. We all know what he can do.

When he's good, he's very very good. And when hes bad....

I love him to bits tho. But we should still be allowed to mention the fact that for someone of his talent, he does under-perform at times.
 
I agree that Giggsy hasn´t been that consistent over the past few years but it can´t help the lad to hear the crowd moaning whenever he´s having a bad spell during matches. Everyone should cheer him ( or any other United-player) on for the full 90 minutes. The United-players,past and present, have done so much for us over the years that none of them deserves to be booed at! (with the exception of Ralph Milne)

B75 - this isn't about who's better and who's not - it's about giggsy and his game. he's a great player and all MU fans think that. he'll need to impose himself on the oposition more. <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />
 
Giggs is a class player when he wants to be
but Take Today for example.
He was Half-Hearted in everything that he did.
When them Hungarians come to town, he'll probably be the Best Player on the pitch but at Sunderland, He'll probably wont be half as good.

Veron was brilliant today, picking the ball up from the back and trying to find passes which was'nt easy as sometimes everyone was stood in the middle. Still some things did not go for him but at least he is trying and not hiding.

Scholes also does not seem happy about being on the bench but you cant play him and veron together they are too similar.

Hands Down Ryan Giggs,.. Is not what he use to be... Ok we can admit that. But perhaps he is still one of the best players on our squad. I Saw the man still running his socks off all he could ( he's not 17 anymore ) and he may not score all the goals anymore.. but 9-10 times he sets them up. Before we all start coming down on what Giggsy isn't doing... why don't we take a step back and look at what he is doing and what he has done,.. and what we know he is going to do. I'm just giving my opinion,... but I think we at least owe it to a man.. who loves this club just as much as we do.
 
Certainly I'm not impress with his performance so far. Hope he will rediscover his form against Chelsea. <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />
