RVN a diver?

The last few games I've been wondering if Van Nistelrooy is getting the bad European habit of diving in the penalty area. I'm sure he wasn't doing this at the start of the season and I get the feeling that the pressure on him to score is making him do silly things like this. Anyone agree?

He's always done this, even before he came to United. I think it's because of his knee, it's better to dive than 'snap' something again.

Even my boss - an ardent Man Utd fan from a family of Salford die-hards - has taken to calling him 'Van Klinsmann'.

Referee's will be marking his cards next season, hopefully.
 
unfortunately yes i agree to an extent, he doesnt do the theatrical dive but does seem to collapse in a heap to easily, maybe hes just a bit clumsy cuz he does seem to run in a somewhat clumsy manner. &lt;bold&gt;If&lt;/bold&gt; he is diving i wish he would remove that from his game .. its just not the united way.

I'm not a scouser - just a glory hunting 'Pool fan (since 1978ish, and I'm now 28 -so you do the maths).

Having spent about 5 years living in Manchester I can honestly say that I've never met such a bunch of bindippers in my life - and I'm from near Stoke! How Mancs lord it over Scousers I've no idea.

No I don't agree that he's a diver. He's crap in big matches though, can't come through in the clutch.

He does take a dive now and then, but so do most strikers when they get the opportunity.
 
Where was the dive. Phisical contact is allowed in Football and like yesterday it does;nt always result in penalties! :mad:
 
Yes, Ruud took another little tumble against Arsenal, I'm starting to see a pattern emerging.


Nice punch to the ribs of Ljungberg aswell.

The longer the season has gone on, the easier Ruud has fallen...if we've started to spot it, think what it looks like to a neutral.
