I was wondering what does everyone expect from our Ruud for next season?

Personally I'd be absolutely ecstatic if he managed to keep up this season's stats but I seriously doubt he will.

Anything close to what he's done this season would be absolutely fantastic.

People who expect him to have a better season are in dreamland IMO.

I expect him to dive alot.
He'll probably score a few goals aswell.

;)

Unlike Diouf then who will just dive a lot, eh?

;)

I think that depends on the formation SAF picks this season. If he carries on playing Ruud in the lone striker roll then no improvememt.
If its back to the old tried and trusted 4-4-2 and he finds a partner he can play off then I can see him doing better.

Back To Ruud, how many penalties do you think he'll win this season?

Heskey struggles to get in the box, nevermind dive in it.

one ... on the kop end ... in the 94th minute after the dive of the century

and he´ll rattle it in for our winner ...

Thats very true, doesnt your groundsman mow Heskeys arse once a week?

BTW I was chuffed when MO was HACKED down in the box for our Penalty a couple of weeks back.

;)

So was I, vicious challenge it was too.
Poor lad drew blood.

Last summer I predicted he'd get 30+ goals if he stayed healthy and he ended up with 36. I expect him to match or better his tally from last year because, in addition to having a year at United under his belt, he's also had a nice long rest this summer. He's yet to get any Silverware at OT, so I think that the conditions are ripe for another RVN blitz next year. 38 goals is my prediction. 24 Prem, 5 Cup, 9 CL.

Here's hoping he carries his good form into the new season.

Someone posted something about a new strike partner for RVN? May I ask what did OGS do wrong? I think they are the best strike partnership for Man Utd.

Me too with all these july 5th rumours. If we play him in a 4-4-2 then he'll score more goals this season than last.

I think he will be sold for a good profit. Can't have as good a season as last.United are done.

I'm expecting him to score tapins vs all the 'lesser' teams like he did last season
:)

I don't think Ruud will have as good a season in terms of goals as he did last season, but that would be a lot to expect.

Here's for me being proved wrong ;)

I expect Ruud to come out fresh and better than last season in terms of technique (he played far more with the ball in his Heerenveen/PSV time, it's because they play slightly different. At Manchester United play is more concentrated on the superb crosses from Giggs and Becks so Ruud just has to be on the right end to finish them. I wonder if Fergie instructed Ruud to fit that pattern of play?). He'll have another great season in terms of goal scoring and be involved in the build up play even more.
