I don't believe this one at all. They couldn't even get their facts straight. In the article, they said that Ruud's 22 years old. He's actually 25. I also find it hard to believe, as they claim, that Ruud flew out there after the Bayer Leverkusun match on Tuesday night. From what Diego said, it sounded like the whole team was really devastated after the match. And you're trying to tell me that Ruud, of all people, got over that match within a matter of hours and decided to fly out to Barcelona to look for a new team? Just doesn't ring true to me.
I had read that too but hadn't believed it. The board is not crazy, the fans would have not forgiven that. It would have been an affair even bigger than Stam's transfer...

IMPOSSIBLE, i was watching spanish league review on sky sports and the expert guillem balague (who i must add is a blinding football pundit) was talking about barca's interest in vieira.
Apparently they want him to see out his contract at arsenal so he can join them on a bosman and they will reward him with a stupidly massive contract.
The point is they cant afford to buy vieira, as they dont have that sort of money at the moment, if that is the case as balague says, then how the feck could they even contemplate affording RVN, arguably along with vieri and henry the best strikers in europe this season.
Its just a load of rubbish done to create hype and attract attention to their site. I will see if balague has anything to say on the subject this week on the show, if there is any truth to the story he will mention something.
