Mate, Rustu is better than Barthez, and someone like him doesn't join a club to be second choice. If Alex wants him it can only have been as a replacement.

If he rejects United, he is not good enough ... already?

When Schmeichel was our goalie did we have any doubt on him and did we need to sign anyone to challenge him? If barthez is so injury-proned he should be replaced. Squad rotation system simply won't work on goalie and we need a keeper who can constantly perform in 60+ matches a season.

Mate, how much Turkish league have you watched during the past couple of years?
The media have started a 'United keeper hunt' during the season already. So they've linked us with Rustu (who was only happy to add his own words, the great hero who rejected United for the love of Fenerbahce) and then they've decided we were battling with Arsenal for Carini.
The club meanwhile, and Sir Alex especially, have given full backing to Barthez. So who do you believe?
