Any chance he's privately telling his forces to keep advancing to Moscow?

How does Vlad trust a word this guy says, unless this is all a stunt which is very possible of course
Of course it is. The guy is crazy but not suicidal, if it truly came to blows they'd be annihlated. And if this was all a plot to get rid of Putin, there are better ways...

Very possible given that he was going for a coup by not claiming he was going for a coup, so this could also be a fake. The next 12 hours will be telling.

I think we should stop quoting this guy. He's proven time and time again that he doesn't know what he's talking about, hasn't he? Like, here he's clearly implying that Wagner has made some deal that circumvents Putin? There's no way that is what has happened.
Yeah that guy has been called out many times for planting false information, even if that particular snippet is true.

He's pulling information from Telegram and adding his own comments. This isn't different than what most are doing on Twitter.

And Kadyrovs troops conveniently never made it to Rostov in time to start fighting because of traffic jam???????

Yeah, but he's doing it like he has any particular insight or line of information. He's clearly just got access to Telegram, and even my national broadcaster had that particular news as soon as he did.

Right, exactly. It's not even impressive that he has that particular snippet of information, since everyone has that and they didn't get it from him. He's just some guy making up shit for followers on Twitter, and we're amplifying his bullshit when everyone is struggling to know what is really happening.

Unbelievable amount of things to walk back from both sides. Not only the terrorism case, Putin's threat of grave consequences, but also actual destroyed aircraft and probably some small ground forces. I guess it will simply not talked about again, and from tomorrow its again the special operation...

If that's true, then it was all Putin's and Prigozhin's show to get rid of Shoigu and Gerasimov. But it's so stupidly obvious that I don't believe it yet.

Couldn't Putin have thought of a better false flag than this though?

It just makes Moscow and Putin look weak and helpless.

Most of the info is on telegram channels, which are largely in Russian and most twitter users don't have the ability to process, so obviously most tweets will be reflective of Russian speakers translating info to Twitter. This guy doesn't know anymore than the rest of them. I'd rather get info from there than have muppets like Michael Weiss simply retweeting known things whilst claiming he has inside sources.

Its too late imo. Prigozhin will get killed if he surrenders or weakens himself in any way, either by Putin's army loyalists, the FSB, or a disaffected Wagner faction from within.

Putin doesn't need a justification to remove leadership he has done it plenty of times before. This whole thing made him look very weak.

That's what I think too, so I am not sure how he could possibly agree.

Hitler’s ghost after hearing that Wagner is moving away from Moscow

Think of the number of oligarchs and officials that have died under mysterious circumstances in recent months. This seems a very odd way to get rid of officials that, like you said, makes Putin look very weak. Even regardless of the power Putin holds over the media. It will be interesting to see how they present this story over the coming weeks

Anticlimactic I'd say. We'll, it has been a fun morning/afternoon anyway.

Anyway, I'd like to know who is the next de facto leader of the military. The guy who marched to the capital with his own army allegedly taking down russian helicopters on his way, the guy who has just been humilliated by him and was saved by a deal in the eleventh hour when he was already making preparations to defend the capital, or the guy who leads by running away?

I don't disagree on principle, but this particular guy is a proven bullshitter. Earlier in the war he suggested Kyiv was about to be nuclear bombed. And not in a "I'm speculating" manner, in a "the planes are being fueled right now" manner. I don't mind if people give their own comments, but there's absolutely no line of separation between the actual information and this guy's wild (and usually completely unfounded) speculation. It's impossible for someone who reads any of his tweets in this thread to know the difference.

Like the tweet @wr8_utd posted just now, about FSB mass raids. Is that speculation or credible information? We have no way of knowing. He could just have said "reports on Telegram that FSB is . . .".

Anyway, even if there were "security guarantees", who would trust Putin's "guarantees" anyway, i know Prigozhin is an evil man, but is he also dumb?

Wagner guy has clearly read my posts about the setup, removing all generals etc and turned down the banquet.
