To replace Pires: Macmanaman or Overmars.

Actually, Macmanaman would do the trick for them over only a few matches, it'd work. Overmars though, that's pretty unlikely.

As if Barça are going to give up OverArse on the verge of the CL quarters. Same with Real and Macca. Squad depth is essential at this time. Arsenal are fecked without Pires and his assists and goals.

Perhaps it would be of interest to educated football fans who want to know what their chief rivals for Premier League supremacy are up to. Of course, for glory-seeking, post-1992, band wagon jumping infants masquerading as knowledgable Manchester United fans (and who cannot spell "Arsenal"), it would be inappropriate to admit the existence of any team other than Manchester United.

Also, please note that this is not a "Manchester United site." It is a Manchester United FOOTBALL site. I'm sure the moderators appreciate the guidance you, with all of three posts under your belt, are able to provide to this forum.

Raoul and Fresnobob, why do you gang up on Barry Finnegan but not on Murt? Because the one has 3 posts and the other 3000? They both seemed to say more or less the same thing. And I'm inclined to agree with them (if I have enough posts to qualify for an opinion, that is).

I thought about the possibility of making the obvious apparent to Murt but decided some folks are beyond redemption. Besides, I'm an Arsenal fan, so I wouldn't mind seeing posts about Non-MU on here, and there are certain Murts, etc.. of the world who would want me banned for not being a kiss-a**, wears the blinders, post 1992, glory-seeking, band wagon jumping, don't acknowedge the existence of any other teams, Manchester United fan.

Well said, although I believe Raoul is correct, and this is for discussing transfers in general, they both come over as condescending to new posters, sometimes.
Perhaps trainees should have to pass a spelling and grammatical exam before being allowed to dipsaly there enlitining viewes!!!!!

I tried to make it obvious for foreign readers, like Les Dawson playing the piano.He was a genius as well!!
The main thing is, Arsenal look like they could win the league this year, and if they strengthen their squad with some of the names being bandied about, we will have our work cut out to win the EPL, never mind anything else!!
