Probably realising he's made the biggest mistake of his career joining this mess.
Feel sorry for him? It’s the manager’s decision to play with five defenders and let two full backs play as wingbacks.I know this isn't even a remotely original observation but you see a starting 11 on paper like the one tonight and you realise once again the absolute state of what he has walked into and you do feel for him.
That back three should be an acceptable level of quality, in theory. Beyond that you've got two natural full backs shoehorned in as wingbacks, two geriatrics in midfield, two centre forwards who rarely score (one of them not even playing up front) and then a ton of expectation on the one other lad, who has been doing well but frankly isn't good enough to carry a team.
They've hung him out to dry, bringing in a manager like this mid season is chronically stupid.
Why? Getting someone else in and they do well for a few months will give some of these wasters more time to stick around.
Can he really turn this around? We are absolutely broken. Rock bottom
What if the youth players aren’t made for this system either? If anything needs to be more ruthless. If he wants to bring his ideas in at this point he needs to do that with whatever players he can. Bring in youth players instead of the senior trash we have
I don't think Ruud would be doing well necessarily, but I also don't think he'd be doing this bad. Rubin starting next season with a pre season behind him would have given him a much better chance. I'm just not sure he can continue losing games until the end of the season and he's kept on. I would hope that he is and given a summer window but will INEOS?
Yep it seems a stretch to think we just happen to have some youth, who haven't yet emerged with one of the weakest squads in the last 30 years and expect them to do well in a system none of them will have played. What if the youth players aren’t made for this system either?

Utter nonsense. No one forced him to come here. A job offer was made and he accepted. If he didn’t want it, he should have said no. Now he keeps playing a formation which doesn’t seem to work and a 6 defensive players which means we offer nothing going forward. They've hung him out to dry, bringing in a manager like this mid season is chronically stupid.
I really want him to succeed, but my god he is too naïve, really got us in a relegation battle. he had the team playing from a mid table level to a pub teamHe has already us in a relegation battle with his tactics. We are even more open than under ETH. He won't last till March at this rate.
He hadn't had a window. Maybe ten Hag wasn't that bad either.I can't see him surviving this season. Zero improvement in the team other than the formation.
That front 3 is terrible, Hojlund just spins 180 and crashes into the centre backNot working this formation.
4-3-3.
Mainoo and casemiro sitting, Erikson the 3rd midfielder.
Rashford, Hoijlund and Garnacho upfront.

No, I agree with @Shark . We said now or never to him.Utter nonsense. No one forced him to come here. A job offer was made and he accepted. If he didn’t want it, he should have said no. There’s a whole other division lurking beneath that rock…Can he really turn this around? We are absolutely broken. Rock bottom
No, I realised that after Bournemouth. This is absolutely cooked. It’ll just get worse this season, we won’t win until Southampton ABs we need to start picking up points very quickly after that.
I don't think we'd be much better under ten hagActually made us worse, didnt think it was possible but he's done it. Some achievement that.
