Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

Im starting to feel like we have the opposite of Ten Hag; going from someone who was too flexible in his tactics to someone who is so sturdy in his tactics.

Why oh why have we not seen Garancho , Zirkzee and Amad in a front 3?

Theres always some weird random AM like Eriksen, mount or Bruno there in our front line making our attack lopsided because attacking midfielders are Not inverted forwards like Amad & Garnacho can be in a front 3.

I always stay up for the same shit, all he has to do is change it up a little but he is going to play his way or the highway.

The guy would never have the balls to play Messi as a false 9 because he would have Iniesta plying as a LAM trying to get on the end of messi's passes intead of David Villa at LW.

The football is really bad for sure. I certainly don't advocate waiting until we've bought a whole new first eleven before judging him, but I definitely want to see how we do with 3-4 new players in key positions. We currently have useless forwards and we desperately need a new wing back, at a bare minimum.

They have a better team at the moment.
Yes because they are a cohesive unit, but player for player United would win a head to head for most people.
United definitely have a squad capable of top 6, if Bournemouth and Forest can manage it then so can this United squad.

We don't have reliable goal scorers in this squad. We just don't have the fire power. This has been evident for well over 12 months too. It goes all the way back to when Rashfords purple patch ended after the League Cup win in February 23.

Chris Wood for example has 14 goals in the PL. That's only one less than Diallo, Hojlund, Zirkzee and Rashford combined.

Question for you, do you think Forest have a better squad than United??

They have better goalscorers. Also, they play 1 game per week bar the cups unlike us who play European football and PL with a lopsided squad with no real goalscorer and a bunch of players with atrocious fitness and conditioning.

Forest would be midtable or worse if they played 3 games a week. They wouldn't be able to fight for every ball in every game as they do now. The comparison is disingenuous since many of these lesser teams drop off once they get European footy after a stellar season.

Is it me or are we playing four at the back since Yoro went out and Dalot switched to RCB (or RB in that case) Diallo is very high up the field, back line looks like four at the back at the moment.

Zirkzee as a starting CF shows how far this club has fallen. Sorry, he's terrible.

£100m for two strikers neither of whom would start for Everton or Wolves. Or Ipswich.

Wonder if Amorim would have taken the job if he knew they'd be this bad.

This has really shown me the sense in writing off a season on Rangnick instead of forcing Ten Hag to leave at that moment back then. You risk things continuing to go to absolute shit, tanking the new managers credibility and turning the squad against him as they go through a brutal 6 months they probably would have had under anyone with your top managerial target instead of some interim. I know writing off a 3rd season in 4 would have been brutal as United but I don't see barring a miracle turnaround between now and the end of the season how the players who remain will be up for playing for Amorim next season. Now we've paid 10m+ for a new manager who could be in the same situation Ten Hag was in August going into next season.

How on earth do you turn around a team with an attack allergic to scoring goals? Only so much he can do without running out there himself. We've the two worst strikers in our history, playing in the same squad somehow. You honestly couldn't make it up.

The individual errors and missed chances are beyond belief.

My favourite was probably Dalot hoofing it out for a corner on the halfway line to start the second half.

You could make a superb compilation from Amorim's tenure alone. Feel like every goal we concede is a individual error and not us being dismantled by a good team.

Yeah I mean there's nothing he could have done and we almost ended up drawing that game. We miss 3-4 sitters, have another goal disallowed, and then Maguire shits himself for 3 seconds and boom more dropped points.

This is definitely the normal way his system works.

Having Dalot at RCB helped massively with that (not that I trust Dalot but he does have energy and pace).

The key to this formation is having high energy centrebacks who can cover the ground, and having wing backs who are all about attacking.

Sums up what we need, strikers that can score. It'll just make his job easier. This team is going to keep struggling to score

I dunno, I think the system is just fine. Just need the players for it. I don't know if he'll ever get us the title or even be as tactically sound as Arsenal but should be good for top four.

People actually dare to blame Amorim and say the players are "top 6 team".

Zirkzee and Hojlund together make half a Chris Wood.

Feel for amorim, should have stayed back at Sporting and won another league title. Managing these duds. He must be why did I even take this crap job

Let’s just feck PSR and buy who we need for the system.

City seem to not give a crap

Psr seems a excuse for Ineos.

They are doing everything Glazers were scared of doing fearing a backlash. Its almost as if glazers have pulled a front for their dirty work.

If he doesn’t get the recruitment he needs in the summer. If I was him I’d genuinely run for the hills. This group as it is now will stick a relegation on his cv next season. They’re so bad.

My apologies if I am knee jerking but I don't see anything in our game play. I mean I don't even see few minutes of his intended game play which we could be hopeful that he would implement it future.

Now don't tell me it's because of lack of players . We aren't this bad.
