Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

Amazing what can happen when you give a good manager time with the squad.
Feckin eejits that extended ETHs contract should be strung up.

We might not win this game, but something has happened over the last week.
Absolutely. Going away to two of the best teams in the country and looking the part is hugely impressive.

Only concern is regressing against the likes of Southampton in the coming weeks. Lots of games that should be wins on paper, need to be making a statement there.

We would probably lose 6-1 with Ten Hag under the same circusmtances.

Same players would’ve crumbled under previous managers. He’s building something & instilling a change of mentality in the players.

If not now, he absolutely needs to be backed with signings in the summer.

The attack needs a lot of work still but I’m impressed with the defence and the workrate of the midfield.

Whatever way the pens go. This has been a fantastic performance.

Amorim put it up to his players and they've responded excellently. We need to keep this up and go on a run now.

Going in the right direction. Players working much harder, pressing together.

Just need to cut out the random acts of sabotage and idiocy, and sign a competent striker and inside forward to share the burden with Amad and Bruno.

Here, I take back my Bayindir criticism. I was wrong. On the internet. In spectacular muppet-like fashion. He redeemed himself and I hadn't seen anything from him before to suggest he would. Here's hoping he pushes on.

More like Get-In-There.

No surprise we’ve cooked two top performances when given more than 2 days before the next one.

Ruben Amorim with more than 1 training session before a game >> Batman with prep time

Some people trying to be toxic towards him for a goalkeeper decision. Humbled.

He made subs which might've felt crazy with a different manager today but it was clear he knew what he was doing.

Thank you Amorim for bringing back a fighting spirit! We use to crumble with 10 men

 credit it to you for coming back and posting that. To be fair, I don't rate him all that much but I knew when you posted it you'd possibly regret it in a game that goes to penalties. He did well today though, after being partly at fault for the first goal. But worth remembering he's Turkey's number 1.

As he says, the players “suffered” today and that’s why we won (well except for Dalot).

Love the resilience the players are showing these days. There's so much character that we badly missed in recent years. I hope it's the start of more things to come.

I don't care if INEOS gotta do some dodgy book cooking, please back this man with players that will fit his system and play til their limbs fall off for him
