Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

time on the training pitch = improved performances.
Another week after this game until the Arsenal game to put some more good work in

This is the right man for the job. Time and patience is required. And for the love of God give the man a LWB and a Striker.

We’re doing the basics much better and more like his first few games than the last three games which is what he mentioned. More aggressive which means we’re winning more second balls and keeping the ball.

Need to keep it up though because they will up it I’m sure.

We look a lot more assured than previous performances based on this first half. I get the feeling he now knows his best team and will carry that forward.

If we can get a quality striker in this month, then I can see our form looking much better.

Even if United get beat this evening, there's something there in what he's trying to do. He needs some personel in key positions to make this work.

The thing is though, the likes of Osimhen can create a goal out of a half chance.
He's excellent in the air and with snap shots.
One of the goals he scored for Galatasaray this season was an ok ball into him at the edge of the box with his back to goal, defender behind him, looked relatively safe for the defense. He turned quickly and lashed it in off the crossbar, goal from nothing really.

Agree though that we need to be better all round. A lwb who can create things is also very important.
Yeah you and the other replies are probably right. He's obviously an upgrade on what we have. If we can get better wingbacks too I'm sure our creation goes up by default.

Glass half full, small sample size and all but there's signs of coaching / players responding to recent comments in that first half. A lot more probing passes and composure in possession. Thought we'd struggle to get out of our own half.

We.must support this coach...he needs time..u can see he has ideas and he can make this horrible group of players play in a structure....if he can bring in a few players to play his way I can see us growing and getting out of this mess

When is the last time we have played like this at Anfield? Going toe to toe with them? Under LVG?

Hard to do anything when the players continue to do stupid things.

Not his fault the club's recruitment strategy over the last 3 years was "go after players with a connection to ETH and/or the Netherlands"

He just needs to keep his principles. In between the shite performances you can see there is something worth persisting with.

Ow and feck Off Liverpool

100%

We have had such an improvement since last week. Once again its players shitting themselves thats fecked us.

He cooked a masterclass today. That’s the best anyone has played at Anfield this season.
