The tactics do look a a bit shit tbf.
Playing 5 defenders, at home, against a club like Bournemouth, when you’re Manchester United, is pretty inexcusable.
I like Amorim, but it’s not been a very impressive start. We looked better under Ruud.
Nonsense.
I mean, from his perspective, why join United? The ultimate poison chalice and a strong possibility you’ll feck your career up.
He told us he had an idea when he came in, that idea isn't working so far, even if there's been some improvement in our general play. Feck me though, our squad is atrocious.
Don’t abandon the formation for short term wins, this is the whole point. If we wanted someone to come in and abandon their philosophy and “adapt to the league” we might as well have hired Steve Bruce or Tony Pulis. The fact is that it has to get worse before it gets better, either we believe in the direction or not. If the fans can’t handle it then we should just give up on trying to have a defined football style and get a jobber manager that can play a physical premier league style with a low ceiling.
Obviously we're not getting top 4,the mere idea of that is laughable.

Oh, we look a lot more toothless than we did under ETH this season. And no wonder. The guy just played Malacia and Dalot as wing-backs at home, I don’t know what he’s expecting.

There are some very poor posters in the football forums, and you particularly notice them after results like this.
This team is uncoachable! There is a culture that is so deep rooted where the players think they are better than what they are and dont need to work. i am beginning to think that this club needs a massive shock to the system to get it out of this dross. A relegation might not be a bad thing as full reset is needed, players sold! The new players that join this group and consumed and corrupted by it. I bet within 4 to 6 Diallo will be part of this very same dross!

Contrary to popular belief we do have some good and decent players and as a whole the squad is pretty strong.

Can’t belive people are slamming Amorim already and the fact that he has rotated so much, he hasn’t one of his own players here. And he has to know who has a place here and who should be shown the door, he is giving every payer ample opportunity to show what they have got. FFS people this place is toxic sometimes.

He’s made some bad decisions today, that’s going to happen. But this is a very poor group of players and even some of the younger and better players are massively over rated.
It wasn't laughable before this game, we just needed to follow up a promising win at City with another promising result. It's laughable now, yes
This formation doesn't work. 5 at the back but we concede all the fecking time. Not enough attacking players on the pitch when we're already an average attacking side. Midfielders in this formation need to be box to box and ours aren't.

taking Ugarte off was a bad shout but can’t really fault him for anything else. These players really are just terrible

I would agree with you if Utd hadn't created enough chances, but that's not the case.
Utd created more chances than Bournemouth today. The difference is they scored 3 times while Utd pissed everything away.
Amorim needs to sort the set pieces and a starting 11 asap.
Hojlund has looked good since he's come on, nice to see him getting plenty of shots away for once.
I'm happy with him. We are creating chance after chance. These results were always going to happen with the squad ten Hag built.
