Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

I'm finding the constant chopping and changing to be grating. I understand he wants to see a few different players, but how do we benefit from changing the CBs every week and the GK?
Are our players fit enough to play 2 games a week? I don't think many of them are - they're very easily gassed.

There are plenty of positives to take. I can see the makings of a good team, it's just going to take lots of patience and good recruitment

I am satisfied, made many chances, overall we were better team but conciding stupidly again. Finally goal from corner! Don't care for this cup so nice match to watch and of course for Amorim to see who is worth staying.

It’s first time he’s played this keeper and I imagine he won’t play many more times, I don’t think our centre backs are capable of staying fit without all this rotation.

I’m sure once the fixture congestion eases we’ll see a more settled team.

We have about 10 games in a month. How can people complain about changing the line ups in December when it’s the busiest period in football. If we don’t change line ups we will have a lot more injuries.

No reason to play such a woeful keeper, Lindelof or Antony. Unnecessary steps that have lost us the game.

So much to love, but terrible selection tonight. Spurs are shite, so it would have been an easy win otherwise.

Disappointing result, but that was another positive performance. At the very least, we're showing fight & determination again.

We really need to cut out the stupid individual mistakes. The tactical improvements are evident & that's before he can sign his own players. Hope the club back him in January.

You can clearly see the progress he’s made already, unfortunately until we rid ourselves of the shite in this squad any good work will constantly get undermined by moments of utter stupidity that permeates through this s team.

I enjoy watching us play. Stupid mistakes but that can be ironed out. We're on the right path and we dominated Spurs today.

20 shots away from home at Spurs and we started players like Linda and Antony…

Tbf there's no reason to rest the keeper. Hardly anyone does it these days, unless they have a legitimately good prospect as the back up who they want to keep happy with game time.

Everyone was crying out for this keeper to start Europa league games and cup games under ETH. No one could predict he’d have a shocker. Onanas been having shockers for the past few weeks.

That’s another level of bad tonight. He has conceded from a fecking corner. No point rotation for rotation sake.

The problem is what can he do? We don't have the fitness and the amount of personnel to play the same team week in and week out without succumbing to constant injuries and fatigue. Any drop off from the first team players is not exactly his fault either.

I feel like every loss under Amorim we've played really well but he's being let down by some of the shitest basic mistakes that professional footballers should not be making.

It must be really annoying to be trying everything to make it right and have your team set up to win games and then every single week have players dropping clangers.

Seems odd to say after watching us just lose to spurs 4-3, but I genuinely think we've got the right man. Can see the system and what he's trying to do.

Unfortunately our squad is littered with shite and there isn't a single manager in the world who can stop some of the mistakes some of the players are making. A few of the correct buys in key positions will transform this side, let's hope we can make a start next month.

This is probably the most optimistic I've been of any post Fergie manager. It feels like the only thing that could stop him turning things around is if we continue to fail in the transfer market.

We can only hope INEOS target the right players in the coming windows.

What?? He was clearly fouled. What do you expect him to catch it with if the forward bats his arm away at the last second?

He doesn’t need a trophy this season necessarily. The trophy is we look like a competent team with potential by the end of the season, then go out and buy players.

Good stuff. Very unlucky to lose this but we are going places and I don't care much about this cup anyway.

We did play well with the ball and were the better team, that’s why it’s so frustrating. No way we should be losing to that lot.

Just start Evans, Onana and Amad. He is full of energy. No need to handicap yourself needlessly. It would have been an easy win tonight.

Agreed 100%. Players mistakes costing us. Amorims tactics have been spot on. We’ve dominated city and spurs away from home. That’s massive improvement to what we’re has to seeing. We won’t win them all but we can actually see a style of play and patterns now

If you think that's a foul you're a bit of a softie. If we're giving those as fouls now we might as well make it a no contact sport. The keeper was pathetically weak, and did pretty much everything wrong all night.

We win if we don’t start Antony. Literally offers nothing.

I like the system. It just needs better players.

We are sorely lacking attackers that take on players with pace, dribbling, strength and or wit.
