Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

Massive difference in how we keep the ball under him. Ugarte looks great in this system too.

I like the fact he’s mixing it up with the team regularly, it’d be easier for him to send out the same team each game. This way gets everybody in the squad used to the system and their role/s within it.

It's exciting to see that he's got this weakened team keeping possession well against Spurs. Ugarte and Mazraoui have been monsters for him, and I'm excited to see how he continues to work with the footballing structure to bring in players that adapt well into and even elevate the system.

Most insane thing ever was Ten Hags obsession with playing his best XI together to “get used to playing with each other” instead of having a full squad raring to go because everyone is getting decent minutes.

Guy was so incompetent

Poor bastard can't believe how shite some of our players are. Bet he's thinking to himself they wouldn't even make Sportings bench

He got the team selection completely wrong today. I don't understand resting players for this when our league campaign is over anyways.

We make too many mistakes, there are some positive signs here and there but we're still a work in progress. Will take a while to sort us out

Shite team selection and he has paid for it. It’s a mistake in my opinion. Any momentum is now lost.

Anthony poor today. That is the end of him id say.

Ah well its only the carabao.

I don't think he got the team wrong at all.

You need to rotate during the Christmas period, and he's still in the phase of wanting to give everyone a shot to see what they can do.

Think he’s just binning of the cup - can’t be starting Lindelof, Antony and think you’ll win. Onwards.

I don’t blame him for rotating at all. The fragility of the players and how shite they are for the most part is mental. We gift away so many crap goals.

There are some players that are just not worth any more minutes, and hopefully he will have seen that after tonight.

We know there are at least half a dozen players who are worthless. Amorim will also know. But we still have to use them occasionally until the end of the season, especially in the league cup and Europa league

I don’t think it was the right move after the City result. Start them and take them off. You are shooting yourself in the foot starting Antony and Lindelof straight after such a big result.

I think that's five times under Amorim now we've scored through pressing the opposition keeper/backline into an error. Absolutely huge improvement in that area.

We've currently had more possession and shots away to Spurs with what started as a makeshift 11. That's not even taking into account the amount of times we found ourselves in good positions that didn't result in shots.

He's working wonders.

He’s got us pressing more than any of the other previous managers. Probably because he’s dropped the none runners… Rashford

He has thrown this game, so I hope it was on semi-purpose. Don’t pick shite players.

Got us playing actual football away to 2 of the better teams in the league. He’s cooking something with us

Just any excuse to hate on Rashford. Even when losing and he's not in the squad our fanbase can still find a way to hate on him

I'm finding the constant chopping and changing to be grating. I understand he wants to see a few different players, but how do we benefit from changing the CBs every week and the GK?

Nah, I was just giving a reason why I think our pressing is looking miles better compared to previous managers.

Bizarre game we have been comfortable for 75 minutes yet conceded 4

You can see the progression the fact we can almost control a game is a relief in itself

We're losing this game to bad moments, not bad tactics, application, passing or anything like that. If there are any issues with Amorim it's maybe about team selection, but even then you'd have to say that rotation is a necessity.

I was afraid we'd collapse at 3-0, so pleased we made a game of it. We go agane.

We have changed the GK once. Maguire can’t play 2 games in a week at the moment because he keeps picking up injuries. De Ligt was ill.

We have about 10 games in a month. How can people complain about changing the line ups in December when it’s the busiest period in football. If we don’t change line ups we will have a lot more injuries.
