no one is unstoppable

That's if he doesn't sit out the next 4 seasons and come back just before the World Cup in Germany...

Ronaldinho isnt a perfect replacement for Ronaldo.Inter are targeting Di Vaio.

Real invincible now? The fans of Real Madrid seem to think otherwise... they're gutted about the possibility of losing Makelele (they consider him as important to their team as Raul and Zidane), and they're FAR from convinced about Ronaldo's fitness and ability to get back to his old form (most of the Real fans seem to have noticed his so-so performance apart from his goals in the WC). They're also whining and crying (vast majority) for Ronaldo not to come on some Real Madrid forums...

Toldo - J Zanetti, Cannavaro, Cordoba, Coco - Dalmat, Di Biagio, Makelele - Ronaldinho - Vieri, Kallon

They hold 50% of Di Vaio´s transfer rights. Vieri/Kallon could be quite a duo.

Anyone else reckon they might regret letting Adriano go to Parma?

Well, Inter stood by him and supported him everywhere they could. Moratti even upped his salaray. They did everything they could for him to become fit again. He´s apparently fit now and he tells them feck off after all Inter have done for him?

That´s what I´ve been told by my Inter supporting mate. I think they got them in exchange for Adriano.

Erm, they get €60 000 000 and Makelele, i'd say thats quite a thank you present.

I agree again ;)
I think all Inter fans hate him now... and they're right...

It is, but football isn´t about money only and it tells you alot about Ronaldo´s character.

That would be a great deal for Inter £40m & £8/9m rated player!

If that is the case, Real may not be unstoppable, but mate they wont be far off. Infact what would piss me off the most is if Ronaldinho goes to Inter, because I had really hoped we signed him this summer!

Well, I guess the Real Madrid summer roadshow goes on:

2000/2001: Luis Figo: £37m
2001/2002: Zinedine Zidane: £45m
2002/2003: Ronaldo: ?

Then again:

2000/2001: Ruud Van Nistelrooy: £19m
Juan Sebastian Veron: £28.1m
2001/2002: Rio Ferdinand: £30m (£33.1m)

Well, I don't think it's true...

Right now Moratti said: "Ronaldo stays at Inter. It's better he starts to like what he has here".

Inter are my bet for the Scudetto.

They, unlike most other Serie A clubs, bought players for positions where they needed improvement and they only spent 5 or 10m € net.

Here you are the news...

"Ronaldo resta all'Inter".

"Ronaldo stays at Inter. There are more than 80% of chances to stay at Inter, maybe I could say 100%." Moratti said that he talked with Real Madrid "but their offer is too much low".

More or less... sorry for my bad English ;)

Text from my mate. I reckon he read this in an Italian paper.

2000/2001: Ruud Van Nistelrooy: £19m
Juan Sebastian Veron: £28.1m
2001/2002: Rio Ferdinand: £30m (£33.1m)

CORRECTION:

2001/2002: Ruud Van Nistelrooy:£19m / Juan Sebastian Veron:£28.1m
2002/2003: Rio Ferdinand: £30m (£33.1m)

Sorry.

Yes. I think Inter, Juventus and my Lazio, if Nesta stays (don't laugh :p ).

I reckon Inter and Juventus will have a great duel for the Scudetto this season. Inter have finally got themselves a world class centre back in Cannavaro, which is what they really needed last season.

Juve will carry on from last season, and plus they will have Salas back, who will be like a new signing.

But also Milan will make a challenge, the signing of Rivaldo will have a great impact on the team in my opinion, but they to need to sign a world class centre back, hence Nesta & Thuram speculation, but nothing seems to be happening, that may cause them to come up short.

Roma will also be strong, any team managed by Cappello will always challenge. I think they needed to sign a class striker to give them more goal threat, now that Batigol is fading, but they will still be there or there abouts.

In my opinion:

1. Inter (esp. if Ronaldo stays)
2. Juventus
3. Roma
4. Milan

No Lazio? So, we'll be a surprise for all of you :D

I agree about Inter, Juventus and Milan. Don't about roma: they need not only a class striker but also a class defender (they don't have anymore Zago and Aldair and I think Dellas will not be enough).

Yes. His behaviour is unacceptable.

President Massimo Moratti announced that Ronaldo will stay and "he'd do well to appreciate what he has."

IMO a resounding YES.

I wouldnt mind if he went to Real if it meant they would be willing to sell Portillo.

But us getting Portillo is probably even more unlikely than us getting Ronaldo.

i'd have liked to have signed ronaldo. when he's on form he is phenomenal. I don't feel he's been rude to inter- not on the same level as van hjoidonk (sorry about the spelling) at forrest or stan collymore everywhere. Ronaldo is football.

I just cannot see that happening, Lazio in my opinion are limited in their starting XI and their squad in general. All the present difficulties that are taking place at the club, cannot be having a positive effect on the team.

I still wouldn't be surprised to see one off, Crespo/Sorin/Lopez leaving the club to raise much needed funds. (HINT HINT!)

Infact I say the only major positive I can see for Lazio's season is the development of what will be a world class central defence partnership of Nesta & Stam.

Both the Milanese clubs, the Old Lady and your arch rivals Roma will be to strong for Lazio in my opinion, but hey we shall see. :)

Well, if Nesta stays as it seems now (and the other players too, maybe only Sorin will be sold, but he has never played until now) I don't think Lazio isn't strong as inter, milan, juve and roma :)

You can't know this, but now with our new coach Mancini everything is different and society/team/supporters are very close. We trust in Mancini and also the players like him.

We'll see

He aint going nowhere. Massimo Moratti:

'Ronaldo is more than 80 percent certain to stay with Inter. In fact, I would say 100 percent certain,'

'The Real approach wasn't economically satisfactory. Ronaldo would do well to appreciate what he has going for him here.'

Thank god. Real with Raul and Ronnie up front and Figo, Zidane in midfield would be really something.
