Just read in the Sun, Inter want to get rid of Ronaldo, the chairman said something along the line of "its time to move on".

WHy do i have that dodgy feel we'll end up with him!??

coz after all, though his pay packet will surely be huge, it will make plc sense coz of all the "ronaldo imagery" it will bring, plus he will link up with nike again come next season.

Bad curry!! ;)

theres no doubt, a fully recovered ronaldo would still b the best striker in the world, i think anyway. has the pace of anelka, brain of ruud, and sharpness of crespo.
its all easy to talk about, but the chances of him breakin down durin a game is probably 50/50.

why the hell did i start this!

Ronaldo seemed to be making a good recovery, only to be injured again and not returning until possibly tonight.

People also said last summer we'll buy Nakata for all his commercial value, bla, bla, bla... But if he isn't right for Fergie's squad there's no chance.

Ronaldo can't last 2 succesive games in Italy so there's about zero chance he'll be able to handle the a lot more physical Premier League.

To be honest I hope we ed up with him. He is a quality player who if he gets back to his best could be the greatest player in our history. If anyone can get the best out of a player it is Sir Alex Ferguson but I'm not sure that he knows too many Spanish phrases!

Well, in Brazil they speak Portuguese, so Ronaldo is probably not much better than SAF at Spanish.

You don't need SAF to get the best out of Ronaldo, you just need a fully fit Ronaldo.

a fully fit Ronaldo is an awesome sight..perhaps the best foward in world footall... however..i doubt whether he can get back to his sensational best. :(

I also doubt so. :( When a players have virtually been out for so long time (3-4 years), it is a miracle if he can get back without losing anything.

Me neither, I'm sure Fergie could get him back to his best. :)

Some players seem to just get injured repeatedly, and unfortunately for all fans of football, Ronaldo is one of them. :( We have had a few sicknotes already, we don't need any more. Let him have a season or two injury free first.

He played for Barca ana I am quite sure he speaks Spanish as well as Portuguese and Italian.

I cannot actually c us gettin ronaldo as we have been linked with crespo and a bunch of world class defenders and I cant c the board giving fergie the money for ronaldo wen he isnt even certain that he will ever peak again.

And why not edmundo while we go through the whole brazil squad. I hear that rivaldo is interested in joining but fergie thinks he is now to old I personally think that rivaldo is over rated he moment of class but the rest of the time he is very average!!!

I really hope Ronaldo gets fit. There isnt a player in the world as good as him when he is 100% fit.

No, there WASN'T a player in the world as good as him 100% fit but the likes of Ruud, Henry, Owen, Trezuget, Vieri & Shevchenko would all run him close now. He is a class player but there is no better? I dunno.

I think Ronaldo is a more complete footballer than the ones you mentioned Rob. I would say Shevchenko is second to him. I wouldnt say the rest are as complete as Ronaldo.

I tell you we should sign a pre contract with ronaldo's son:

dad - one of the best strikers the world has ever seen, when the poor geezer was fit

mum - holds world record for ball keep-ups and was a professional footballer with a woman's team in america

their son is bound to be dynamite, then again he will probably end up a salsa teacher, things never seem to go to plan ;)

I can't see Ronaldo coming to United, the PLC would not take a chance with the transfer fee and wage demand after the injuries he has had, I would love to see him here but I reckon London would be the place to go and maybe to Arsehole Whinger's ARSEnal

Ronaldo, my best player coming to United. Wicked! I hope he did but his injuries are a risk. He has not recovered fully since that nightmare in the World Cup 98. I hope he returns and plays in the World Cup this year.
