Taken from planetfootball.com:

Ronaldo has refused to comment on reports that he has been offered to Arsenal by Italian club Internazionale.

The unlikely rumour emerged in the South American press on Saturday, but Ronaldo has again asked not to be asked about club football whilst at the World Cup.

The mercurial striker has looked to be getting back to his best this tournement, finally putting four years of injury and recuperation behind him.

However, although Internazionale have stuck by him throughout this period - presumably so that they would benefit from his eventual return to form - the speculation that he will leave Milan has mounted.

The latest link - to Premiership champions Arsenal - was put to the Brazilian by RAI television but got little response.

"I do not discuss the transfer situations with anybody," said Ronaldo.

"I don't want to talk of anything over than the World Cup".

MY THOUGHTS: The rumours are defintely mounting. Ronaldo has said himself that he wants to move to England. But there is only one club he would possibly move to, United.

Liverpool and Arsenal are both big clubs he would also consider moves to but neither really have the financial clout to support the signing of such a player and his wages.
