Inter want Veron and Nike want Ronaldo at MUFC. For a str8 swap I'd take him. I reckon the PLC would go for it as well and are itching to get rid of Sebba.
 
Would only be possible if we were sure to get D'allesandro :D

Where have Nike actually stated they want him at United. It keeps getting raised but has anything even close a statement like that ever been officially said?

Nike would never and could never publically put that pressure on a football club. They might be doing it behind the scenes however.

If you look at the scenario Ronaldo joining United would benefit Nike enormously there is no doubt about it.

Inter are reportedly getting Ronaldinho. I shouldn't imagine they will be after Veron too. Furthermore I should imagine that they're all salivating at the prospect of Ronaldo and Ronaldinho playing together at the San Siro. I also read something somewhere suggesting they would be selling Recoba as they need the cash.

Furthermore, Inter are said to want wingers, specifically a left winger. Fadiga has been mentioned by Moratti as Gonzalez the cheating diving argentine is too expensive.

Juve have said both Nesta and Cannavaro are too expensive.

Logical conclusion:

Veron to Lazio, Nesta to United, Ronaldo to United, Giggs to Inter, Recoba to Juve via United, Cannavaro to Lazio, Lazio to the dogs.

I would take that - Veron to leave and Ronaldo to come in.

I really do believe that Ronaldo will be a united player next season, most definately.
