Ronaldo says he dreams of a move to England, saying he is attracted by the flair of the Premiership.
And the Brazil striker is also an admirer of the England national team, saying he believes Brazil's clash with England is "best match of the World Cup so far".
The Inter Milan forward, who has also played in La Liga during his one season at Barcelona, is now keen on a move north to the Premiership.
"I still have inside me the itch to play in England which won't go away," said Ronaldo.
"They have a wonderful championship and though everybody talks about the Spanish and Italian leagues people who love football must agree the English league has a flair of its own."
And the joint top scorer in the World Cup says he is fully fit for Friday's clash, which he thinks could decide the World Cup.
"I will go into the match with all my power," said Ronaldo, whose fitness level according to England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson is at its best for four years.
"If we beat England I think we can reach our goal of winning the World Cup. It will be the best match of the World Cup so far.
"We can stand all the pressure because there is no fear of pressure. We have been in so many pressure situations before, this is just another one.
Ronaldo, who notched his fifth goal of the competition against Belgium to move alongside Germany's Miroslav Klose, also reckons the only way his side will beat England is to stick to their tactics of all-out attack.
"We have to go at England from the start without thinking too much about the opposition and play our own football," he said. www.skysports.com
