Inter Milan striker Ronaldo could be heading for Spain and the Champions League winners Real Madrid in a player plus cash deal.

The player Real are believed to have offered for the Brazilian superstar is Claude Makelele, who is said to be unhappy with his current salary.

Ronaldo however denies these claims, saying: "I do not want to discuss leaving Inter because I am happy in Milan and want to stay there until my contract expires in 2006."

"I have always had a good relationship with the fans, and for now I just want to think about the World Cup."

Their are roughly 10 Ronaldo threads in operation,
why couldnt you post this in one of the others,
Its not as if its from a rock hard source.

Why give a title saying 'Ronaldo could join Real' when it clearly has the man himself saying

I do not want to discuss leaving Inter because I am happy in Milan and want to stay there until my contract expires in 2006."

There's a lot you dont seem to understand

How the feck can Real attract and even buy "all the world stars"? (remember them having around £150.000.000 in debts a couple of years ago and the local government helped them out "because they're so much worth for the city of Madrid). As Fergie said, "no one can compete with them under such conditions"... Think there's som "MAFIA" going on in Madrid?

Real Madrid are not like a football club, they are like the Spanish national team. Make that the Spanish government team.

Their debt turned into a profit when the council built them a brand new state of the art training ground as a 'present' and then purchased their old one for many many millions.

People call us evil because of our commercialism, but its a Hell of alot better than this invincible backup Real have. They have problems? Government bails them out - it bloody stinks. Real will never be allowed to fail because they are too important to Spain - weird isn't it?

Wish Manchester City Council was so friendly.

This has been flatly denied by both the player and his club.
