Rommedahl?

Where the goals come from.

"According to the Daily Mirror, the Sun, the Independent and the Guardian, United have targeted PSV Eindhoven's Danish winger Dennis Rommedahl "

Hadn't heard anything about this before. Not sure he's up to the right standard, but to be fair, I haven't seen him much.

Anybody else seen more of him?
 
very very very very quick... commentaters often say he is the quickest player in the world...

he plays on the right wing

his final ball could use some improvement (but hey so could giggs)

would be excelent as a squad player but I would prefer a Joaqin or Quaresma if we have to replace Beckham... but Rommedahl would certainly inject some pace into the team

When Ireland played Denmark before the World Cup, he was anonimous. Aganst Ian Harte. Pass.

He's bloody fast - as in Henry fast, but he reminds me more of Agathe of Celtic than Henry.

he can be a squad player..
i've seen him play before..very quick and get past player easily but sometimes him final ball is very poor..and i dont think he can cross as well as beck..

Sure, guys who can cross like Beckham are 2 a penny nowadays. :rolleyes:

He'd be too expensive to use as a squad player.

As a dane I have seen him play for the NT, his main asset is his speed, as he is fast very fast.

It is possible that he could be a squadplayer for United, but I wouldn't miss any sleep over it, if we didn't sign him.

To be fair, i would think that he was better than that, no offence ;) .

But he is nothing special besides his speed, and he should only be a transfertarget as a squadplayer.

agreed but at the same time if you shoved a firework up my arse i could bomb behind the full back and play a soft square ball across the box. thats all rommedahl even attempts feller!
we need a ball player like queresma; cant see anything in these rommedahl rumours. :)

I would like to see him going to MU and think he would improve to a higher level. And yes, he is quick...and dont judge him on the Northern Irland match, cause the whole danish team sucked in that match

Give me a fecking footballer not a sprinter.

Who was that 100m sprinter who played for a mediocre club in the dark late eighties, and everyone thought it was great despite the fact he couldn't play?
 
He played quite reasonable yesterday... Although the field sucked.
I'll search for some movieclips if you want to.
