At my son's wedding recently I was discussing musical tastes with his best man, and he recommended Rodrigo Y Gabriella, The Black Keys and Ray LaMontagne, all of whom I'd never heard of being an ''old git''.

Was absolutely blown away by all three especially Rodrigo Y Gabriella.

Anyone on here seen them live???
 
Saw R&G on Jools Holland a few years ago and thought they were excellent. Would pay to see them live if they were over here.
 
Seen them on Wednesday at TVital supporting Florence and The Machine and The Stone Roses

Great wee band, nice vibe
 
They played at my university one evening in either 2006 or 2007. I hadn't intended to see them but heard something going on so I went over to see what it was and ended up staying til the end. They are fantastic.
 
Yeah I saw them about 5 or 6 years ago at the waterfront in Belfast. They were awesome.

Supremely talented. Saw them briefly at oxegen one year as well but I thought they were more suited to a smaller indoor venue.

Correct. Saw them in Mandela Hall, outstanding. Saw them on a big stage outside, didn't have the same effect. Still really good but there was just something lacking. Great in an indoor, kinda small venue though.
