Rock Band

Depends on who you ask. Both come with the ability to DL new tracks every few weeks, and both sets of "instruments" work with each game, so it's really down to which you like the look of, or the music on the original discs.

GH:WT does have cymbals for their drums, while RB2 you have purchase them separately. GH:WT also has the ability to create your own music and upload it for others to hear. I would think that unless you are a studio geek, this feature wouldn't be used but once or twice. Don't know though, never used it.

Me and the missus bought Rock Band 2, drums and a microphone for the 360 today (cost us around £40 for everything, all brand new) and can't wait to try it at the weekend. I've heard the "Tour" mode is really good.

We're mad about our music so can't wait.

Rock Band 2 is quality. Absolutely love the drums for it. I've put in so many hours to that game. You'll love it, proper good fun and has a very good collection of songs, with the option of buying a feck load off the marketplace.

Rock band is class. Usually I'm in drums while one of my friends is on guitar. Then another just goes all out on the mic, mad thing:lol:

I love it, was good fun with the girlfriend.

I play RB2 & GH World Tour with friends and it's a good laugh. I like that I could download Jam songs to RB2.

If you get RB2 and then rent RB1 you can pay a small fee and transfer all the songs from RB1.

Me and the missus are addicted! I am pretty good on the drums as well, really enjoying it! I spent £20 on DLC yesterday, couldn't resist Pearl Jam's 'Black' and 'Ruby Soho' by Rancid
