Fecking hell. Couldn't they just have fitted a real drumset with sensors and shipped that? What's next, the guitars being fitted with strings and tuning keys?

What I liked about the first and second guitar hero games was the simulated rockstardom you got from holding the undersized plastic squeakboxes rocking off some of your favorite tunes. This is getting more and more like learning an instrument.

These games are definitely starting to get overcomplicated.

The upcoming Guitar Hero World Tour game with the full instrument set has similiar force sensitive drums and some added touch sensitive thing for the guitar as well.

It is sort of going against the whole simplistic idea of the games in my opinion. Not that that will stop me buying the next guitar hero game
