I just watched Robocop the other day on DVD for the first time in absolute ages and I nearly forgotten how great a film it is

Robocop is one of my favourite ever films! Please don't be offended but I am surprised to hear a girl say that Robocop is a great film. I guess I always considered it to be a 'blokey' kind of movie.
I first watched Robocop when I was about seven years old, much to the displeasure of my elders. My auntie in India had a copy on tape that I used to watch every other day whenever I was over there. At first, that huge robot (ED 209) and the other baddies used to give me nightmares but it didn't put me off because robocop was my hero during my childhood.
I hope they release a new Robocop movie even though the original will never be surpassed.

Of course I do like other movies, I do like some comedies and romance movies but horrors really are the best. I first seen Robocop when I was younger and then not long ago I happened to see it going cheap in HMV or Virgin (can't remember which one) so I bought it and it's absolutely brilliant. There's so many great moments in it. I love the bit where Clarence walks in to kill Bob Morton in his home and he just utters the words 'bitches leave'
I just find that brilliantly funny. Or when Robo goes to the club to arrest Leon and he just trails him out by his hair, it's brilliant
There's loads of cool, memorable lines in the movie.

'dead or alive, you're coming with me'
'cops don't like me & I don't like cops.....nananananana' (then he blows his hand to shit)
'well give the man a hand' (see above quote).
'just give me my fecking phonecall'
-man Clarence has some great lines in that film you gotta say

I love the bit after ED209 has just blown that guy to pieces in the sky rise office, when one of his co-workers shouts out "Will someone call a god-damn paramedic!"

There are some other memorable lines as well that aren't really one liners, such as:
"I had to kill Bob Morton because he made a mistake. Now it's time to erase that mistake." (Repeating over and over again during the final scene when Robocop finally confronts Dick Jones at an OCP business conference.)
"DICK!!! YOU'RE FIRED!!!" (To which Robocop replies, "Thankyou.")
"Madam, you have suffered an emotional trauma. I shall notify a rape crisis centre." (Robocop to victim of attempted rape when she is crying and thanking him for saving her.)
"Book him. He's a cop killer." (When Robo arrives at the station after arresting Clarence."
"Stay out of trouble." (To the kids at a primary school)
"Murphy.....it's me." (Lois when she first sees him as Robocop).
The 'newsflashes' and 'advertisements' that occur frequently throughout the film are cool too.
