He made some very strange decisions today vs Chelsea and also in the Villa game a few weeks ago. I don't think I've disliked a ref's demeanour this much since Mike Dean.

I've only just read that he's a scouser who is not allowed to ref Liverpool or Everton games. But, for some reason, United games are fine. Because we all know scousers have no ill feeling towards United.

Genuinely sh!te. Most 50/50s (and some 60/40s) given against us, a ton of fouls in first 20 minutes that could have been yellows individually or on totting up basis, few occasions they slowed free kicks (Cucurella picked up the ball from a United throw and threw it away when he knew it was ours), Palmer going down like a 6-year old… and some really minor yellows.

A couple of decisions in second half were genuinely bizarre. Not even 60/40s.. just clearly wrong. A tackle on Rashford which was let go (fine), then a follow up challenge (also should have been let go), which he blew up for and Rashford went ballistic at the linesman and got booked. Stupid, but it was an awful decision.

The most bizarre one was Hojlund being manhandled and he let's it go, and then 2 seconds later a light pull from Casemiro is given as a free. Nonsense.

He's not allowed to ref Liverpool games. Why is a scouser allowed to ref our games? He has reffed 4 of our last 12 PL games.
