Has the rules changed somewhere and I missed it...? since when have non Reds been allowed to post in the United forum...???

How do they stop them? Unless you have a password and give it to only thiose you think are United fans. Would be hard to police.

Make it plain to them to keep the feck out, it worked before

What's wrong with them posting in the United forum?

You mustn't know who they are, I see Arsenal and Chelsea supporters posting in there every day, never mind supporters of other clubs. And the way some people batter the club, I suspect there's a few ABU's pretending to be United 'supporters' too!

Is there something wrong with fans from other clubs posting on the United forum?? As long as it is too discuss football I don't see why not, gives us a different view.

We'll turf anyone causing problems out of the United forum and in the case of opposition supporters will lock them out for good, but so long as their views are sensible and they're not WUMming then there's no problem with non-United fans posting in the United forum.

There's never been a blanket ban on them 77 and even if we did instigate one it would be a struggle to make it work as you'd just get opposition fans pretending to be United supporters to circumvent the ban. We've got enough that claim to be United supporters despite the weight of evidence to the contrary as it is.

Do you want this place to become rawk.2? It's good to have a devil's advocate now and again, for a good laugh if nothing else.

Some of the rival supporters are good blokes, especially that Christofaux, he's a quality lad.

The rival supporters, especially the Arsenal lot, are part of what makes this place a good forum.

There are two kinds of rival supporters who come to a football forum and post regularly. The ones who are looking to WUM, and the ones who are reasonably sensible and are genuinely looking for a good discussion. The first are found out quickly, and the second kind are alright.

Well okay, there's a third kind, the sort-of-spastics who we keep around for the fun they occasionally provide us.

I can answer this. They were always allowed to post in there, however, especially under my tenure, they were told not to mess around in there or they would be gone. Spammy is a classic case of someone that used to do that, and got a long ban from me. Another admin then went behind my back and removed the ban, which was one of the reasons I deleted myself, because one thing I cannot stand is slyness.
