That's right. February, Portsmouth. Be there or be a big shitty taste in music, scouting for girls loving gimp.

Also Taste of Chaos was amazing and Atreyu were fecking rad. First gig I have ever been to where the band climax the night by getting the entire crowd to "get down on one knee and when we count to 4, jump up and just feckin rage until the end of our last song!!"

Good times.

fecking hell. Im going to Taste of Chaos in a week. Can't fecking wait.

Rise against are quality as well. Haven't listened that much to their new album, but sounds very good. Might pop along and see them, if they are playing in London.

They are. They're playing the astoria on the 3rd (I think) of may.

All the bands at ToC (well, Story, Atreyu and As I Lay) played almost all their old stuff when I saw them at ToC, which was cool but I have seen all 3 bands before so I had heard all the live songs at some point in the past and was really hoping Atreyu would play some stuff off of Deathgrip. They did end with Crimson though, which was mint.

One of the support bands, MUCC, were feckin bizarre. Some sort of Japanese Screamo band. Music was rad, but the vocalist was basically Japans answer to Davey Havoc, except his voice was too weak for the music. All 3 of the headline acts got massive circle pits started though, which kind of made up for their relatively short sets and older song selection.

Sweet. Will probably go and see them then.

 The Japanese Davey Havoc, sounds interesting. Nothing like a good circle pit.
