Japanese Moto2 rider Shoya Tomizawa has died after suffering a shocking crash in San Marino.

Suter's Tomizawa was travelling at full speed when he was hit by the bikes of Italy's Alex De Angelis and Britain's Scott Redding.

It really was a sickening accident, worst part of the circuit to lose the bike and just pot luck where you end up.

But yeah it's a really dangerous sport. We're lucky such fatal incidents don't occur more frequently

I've just seen the replays... Thats fecking scary. You watch it and then you think about it and the comprehension is probably the scariest part about it.

This truly goes understated. Car guys seat belts with massive role cages and carbon fiber chassis to protect them. These guys have only their skill and luck.
