Horrible news. Rest In Peace, Kaylen.

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that Barnet Football Club announces the tragic passing of Academy player Kaylen Dennis.

Kaylen was from a footballing family and playing professional football was what he aspired to. He was a much-loved member of the CH Bees Academy – his personality, talent and passion for the game shining through every training session and every game. At school he was positive and popular with his peers, especially his teammates, but also with his coaches and teachers.

All at the Club are devastated by this heart-breaking news and would like to extend their condolences to his family and friends at this incredibly difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them all.

Barnet Football Club will pay tribute to Kaylen at Saturday’s game. Details will be communicated at a later date.

As a Club we would like to formally thank the Bedfordshire FA and Pro Direct Luton Academy for their help and efforts on Wednesday morning.

We ask that everyone respects the privacy of the family at this difficult time.

This is really sad to hear for a kid so young. My local club too. I wish ease on his family and friends during this difficult time.
