Bit quicker than I thought, damn good news - seems like we might see a full strength United side within a month.

Full strength & playing as a unit. For this we need the new guys & returnees from injury to have as much time as poss' together....we don't want to let Arsenal get too far way b4 we hit best form .... Rio is key in this process IMO..

Well that's a good question Neil....full strength as it stands means being able to pick from all contenders for a 1st team place but given the obvious lack of depth in the squad we are not at optimum. I have been inspired by your youth thread & been researching into the youth arena to look for alternative solutions. If this vein of talent along with expert scouting cannot be better employed it will have to be the cheque book
which does not always guarantee results.

I would guess that Alex would choose:
Barthez
Gary Rio Blanc Silvestre
Beckham Veron Keane Giggs
Scholes
Ruud

I'd pick:
Ricardo
Wes Rio O'Shea Silvestre
Beckham Scholes Keane Giggs
Ruud Ole

Agreed O'Shea for Blanc....phasing him (LB)out appropriate now
Not sure about Wes yet but always fancied him at RB
Ricardo deserves a run IMO
Not sure about Ruud/Ole combination which is where the "full strength" dilemma comes in in my mind....I still like Diego & wish he was only just emerging from time in the reserves behind a 3rd experienced striker...
also there are times when someone for the Hole would be an advantage...Scholes not bad btw

The above is why I am surprised that we are so light in squad nos & scope..
