You can always turn pm's off, but that's probably not what you want.
It would help if people stopped telling others you are a mod and pm'ing you is the best way to get their problems sorted.

I think asking people to not pm you will only result in more people pming you more often.
Being called "El Presidente" surely gives you some kind of higher status than ordinary posters, which to many, suggests he has power to change stuff.
