Ricky Gervais

Hes incredibly funny.

You need a special humour to really get him.

He's not Les Dennis.

Now then......Les Dennis...now you are talking, now he is funny. Lenny Henry is the funniest man alive, but you need a very very special humour to understand him.

The Office(UK) is one of the most funniest TV shows I've ever watched.

Extras is also very good.

they're stand up comics - though Eddie has also been in a few films now (mostly straight parts) .

You could always have a search on you tube IF you wanted

Ok. I was asking what programs are funnier than the office and extras.

Ricky and Steve are both very funny. Karl though is a genius.

Funny in the Office and funny in Extras.
When someone makes you uncomfortable watching him, then he's funny.
Another example is Larry David in Curb Your Enthusiasim. I fecking cringe watching him sometimes....funny as hell.

Spot on NJ, can't wait till Curb comes back

i have never laughed at lenny

never found him in the slightest funny

think roxyfella is being sarcastic here.....a dig at the "you need a special humour" quote of Murrays.

The office is so overrated its unbeleivable...yes its "clever", but the function of a comedy is to make me laugh...not just smile now and again after cringing for 20 minutes.

The Office and Extras are genuinely good comedy shows. His stand up can be bloody hilarious at times, too. Poor bloke didn't have enough material for the Diana thing because Elton was doing feck knows what, so he had to improvise...which given the circumstances (being broadcast across the world and being on stage at Wembley stadium with over 60,000 members in the audience), he did bloody well.

He knows he could make serious wonga turning up to corporate do's and doing that dance time after time after time.

I just thought he was above it.

He's clearly not.
