Quietly spoken chineseman have said we are interested in him.

But the South China Morning Post said he had already moved to Everton. Where'd you find your Chinaman Dans? ;)

A chinaman is an almost unplayable googly if I'm not mistaken.

Anyways, the quietly spoken chinese who I miraculously overheard were, now it gets funny actually, members of an Everton board who claim to be 'in the know'. I'm sure it's bollox but I feel duty bound to report this bearing in mind the nature of this forum.

What the feck?

Roberto Mancini secures signature of former England international following the release of Stuart Taylor and the 34-year-old is expected to be third choice at the Etihad Stadium

Is this an attempt to increase their injuries so they too can use that excuse this season?

They replace like for like, someone that never plays for another that will never play.

Saying that surely they must have someone in the academy or reserves that could fill in for the 3rd spot.

Edit: Epic bump!

Didn't he play for L'Arse?

On a side note Talksport just said they are going to poach Frank McLintock for their legends lounge

He moved back to Ipswich as he could not settle in the Preston area. He was only at Preston for a week

It's like one of those signings you'd make on FM just to have a back-up keeper you have no intention of using.

City have had a rather underwhelming summer.

If they had been spending: Proof that the FFP are a joke that will never be implemented.

Now that they arent: Look at Chelsea instead. Proof that the FFP are a joke that will never be implemented.

Sorry, pet peeved.

I wasn't referring to money really, more the players they've signed. You can do better for £15m than Rodwell.

They'll still lose >£100m this season on operating costs alone, even if they don't sign a single new player.

Then again, I'm sure that a cousin/brother/wife/sister will 'sponsor' City to teh tune of exactly the amount needed to meet FFP in the future, so who cares.

Also - Platini's son is now working for PSG. FFP is toast.

He used to be a keeper with fantastic potential. I remember him having an absolute storming season with Ipswich a few years ago in div 1, think it was 99/00.

Injuries ruined him, unfortunate.
